The Chevrolet Cruze, a compact car produced by General Motors since 2008, is a globally developed and designed vehicle available in various body styles. Initially launched as a four-door compact sedan, it was later accompanied by a five-door hatchback in 2011 and a station wagon in 2012. The Cruze replaced several compact models upon its introduction, such as the Chevrolet Optra, the Chevrolet Cobalt, and the Australasian-market Holden Astra. In 2008, the Cruze made its debut in the South Korean market as the Daewoo Lacetti Premiere, transitioning to the Chevrolet Cruze in 2011 after the phase-out of the Daewoo brand. Conversely, in Australasia, the car
