The Daewoo LeMans, a compact car produced by Daewoo in South Korea from 1986 to 1994, underwent a rebranding as the Daewoo Cielo between 1994 and 1997, keeping the same mechanical structure with only cosmetic changes. The vehicle inherited its base from Opel's design, specifically the Opel Kadett E model which belonged to the GM T platform family. The LeMans retained the essence of the Opel Kadett E, being essentially a rebadged version adapted to the Daewoo brand.
