The Dodge Dynasty, produced by Chrysler Corporation from 1988 to 1993, was a mid-size four-door sedan. Positioned between the Dodge Spirit and Dodge Monaco in the Dodge sedan lineup, it succeeded the Dodge 600 sedan. The Dynasty was based on the Chrysler C/AC platform, a larger variant of the Chrysler K-car platform. This platform was also shared with the Chrysler New Yorker from 1988 to 1993. The Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue and Chrysler Imperial from 1990 to 1993 also utilized this platform but featured an extended-wheelbase chassis known as the Chrysler Y platform. Manufactured at Chrysler's Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois, the Dodge Dynasty was built alongside the Chrysler New Yorker, New Yorker
