The Dodge Stratus was a mid-size car launched in December 1994, utilizing the Chrysler JA platform. Alongside its siblings, the Plymouth Breeze and Chrysler Cirrus, it earned a spot on Car and Driver magazine's prestigious Ten Best list for 1996 and 1997. Initially praised for its design and features, the Stratus faced declining ratings as time passed. A significant update was introduced in 2001, coinciding with the Cirrus' rebranding as the Chrysler Sebring. The range was expanded with the addition of a coupe model.
