The Geely Merrie, a subcompact car manufactured by Chinese automaker Geely Automobile, was in production from 2003 to 2006. Available in two body styles - a five-door hatchback called the Merrie and a four-door sedan known as the Uliou - the MR catered to consumers who preferred compact vehicles. The foundation of the MR stemmed from the Daihatsu Charade platform, which Geely attained through a licensing agreement with Xiali.
