Recalls for the Honda Civic STEERING - Difficulty steering can increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the worm gear spring and redistribute or add grease as necessary, free of charge. FUEL PUMP - A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. Dealers will inspect and replace the high-pressure fuel pump as necessary, free of charge. RACK AND PINION - A damaged tire can fail and increase the risk of a crash or injury. Dealers will inspect and replace the electric power steering rack, as necessary, free of charge. CRITICAL FASTENERS - An unsecured driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Dealers will replace the driver's seat cushion frame, free of charge. CONTROL UNIT/MODULE - Unintended vehicle movement or an unexpected increase in brake pedal travel can increase the risk of a crash or injury. Dealers will replace the VSA modulator, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2023. Check your VIN against the official notice before acting on this.
