The Hongqi E-QM5 is an electric compact executive sedan manufactured by Hongqi specifically designed for online car-hailing services. Unveiled at the 2021 Haikou International New Energy Vehicle and Connected Mobility Show, the E-QM5 is a purpose-built vehicle tailored for modern transportation needs. It is based on the same platform as the Hongqi H5 gasoline sedan, featuring MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear. The car boasts dimensions of 5,040×1,910×1,569 mm and a wheelbase of 2,990 mm. Equipped with a single electric motor powering the front axle with 100 kW (134 hp), the E-QM5 offers
