The Hummer H3, produced by General Motors from 2005 to 2010, is an off-road vehicle and the smallest model in the Hummer lineup. It was available as a 5-door SUV or a 4-door pickup truck variant called the H3T. Unlike its larger predecessors, the H1 and H2 developed by AM General, the H3 was not produced by the same manufacturer. Introduced in 2006 for the model year, the H3 was built on a modified GMT355 platform, shared with the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon compact pickup trucks, which were also manufactured at GM's facilities in Louisiana and South Africa.
