Infiniti I-Series

1995 – 2004

Infiniti is the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automaker Nissan, launched on November 8, 1989, in North America. The brand's marketing network expanded to over 50 countries by the 2010s, with key markets including North America, China, Taiwan, and the Middle East. By 2020, new car dealers were serving 25 markets worldwide. The Infiniti logo, designed by Nissan, symbolizes a road extending to the horizon and Mount Fuji, paying homage to its Japanese roots. The introduction of Infiniti in the United States in 1989 aimed to tap into the premium vehicle segments not covered by Nissan's mainstream offerings, influenced in part by the Plaza Accord of 1985.
