Isdera Imperator 108i

1984 – 1993 — GERMANY

Isdera›Imperator 108i

The Isdera Imperator 108i is a rare German sports car manufactured between 1984 and 1993, stemming from the Mercedes-Benz CW311 concept designed by Eberhard Schulz, originally a Porsche design engineer. After Mercedes-Benz declined to produce the CW311, Schulz founded Isdera, his engineering firm, to bring his vision to life. Constructed on a tubular steel spaceframe with a fiberglass body, the Imperator 108i boasted striking similarity to high-end supercars of its era. Notable modifications from the CW311 concept included the substitution of the retractable headlights with fixed units and conventional tail lights sourced from Mercedes-Benz. This unique vehicle epitomized exclusivity due to its limited production numbers and exceptional design heritage
