James and Browne

James and Browne, a hallmark of British automotive ingenuity, began its journey in 1897, the brainchild of Sydney James and Frederick Browne. This duo of visionary engineers pioneered the brand with the "Safety Voiturette," a vehicle that stood out during the infancy of automotive design for its robust engineering and innovative, customer-focused features. From these early days, James and Browne established themselves as artisans of reliability and luxury, consistently pushing the boundaries of technology and design. Over the decades, the company has weathered the ebbs and flows of economic tides, maintaining its reputation through a dedication to craftsmanship and a deep understanding of the automotive landscape. Today, James and Browne remains a revered name in the automotive industry, known for its bespoke vehicles that blend historical elegance with modern technology. While not as expansive as some of its contemporaries, the company's focused approach on quality over quantity has carved out a niche market that appreciates the legacy and personal touch that come with every James and Browne car. The brand continues to thrive, celebrating its storied past while driving forward with innovations that keep it at the forefront of luxury automotive design.
