Lotec

Founded in 1962 by engineer Kurt Lotterschmid, Lotec has carved a distinct niche within the high-performance automotive world. This German marque, originating from a humble workshop, initially focused on creating innovative parts for racing cars, quickly earning recognition for its meticulous craftsmanship and engineering prowess. The brand's foray into complete car manufacturing was marked by the introduction of the Lotec C1000 in 1995. This model was a testament to the brand's commitment to bespoke manufacturing and technological advancement. Developed for a wealthy United Arab Emirates businessman, the C1000 was powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine, capable of reaching speeds that challenged the boundaries of automotive engineering at the time. Today, Lotec stands as a testament to high-performance vehicles that combine luxury with cutting-edge technology. Although the company keeps a low profile, it continues to influence the niche market of custom supercars, maintaining its legacy through continuous innovation and a commitment to excellence. Despite the fiercely competitive market, Lotec’s dedication to engineering perfection keeps it relevant and revered in the automotive world.
