The Marcos Mantis M70 was a British (2+2) sports car first introduced in 1970 by Marcos Engineering. It was powered by the same Triumph 2.5 litre 6-cylinder engine found in the Triumph TR6 and TVR models. In 1971, Marcos offered the option to purchase the Mantis as a component car for £425, significantly lower than the factory-built version priced at £3,185. Only 32 Mantis models were produced before Marcos shut down due to financial issues later that year.
