The Maserati Mexico (Tipo AM112) is a luxurious 4-seater grand touring coupé that was manufactured by Maserati from 1966 to 1972. It was crafted based on the second series of the original AM107 Maserati Quattroporte and featured robust 4.2 and 4.7 L V8 engines for impressive performance. The design of the Maserati Mexico was inspired by a 2+2 prototype bodywork created by Virginio Vairo, showcased on the Vignale stand at the October 1965 Salone di Torino. This design was then implemented on a 4.9-litre 5000 GT chassis, which had been redesigned due to previous damage.
