The Mazda Premacy, also known as the Mazda5 outside Japan, is a passenger minivan produced by Mazda from 1999 to 2018. The first generation of the Premacy was manufactured in Japan and sold in markets across Europe and Asia. Ford also marketed a rebranded version of the vehicle, known as the Ford Ixion or Ixion MAV, in select Asian countries, including Japan. Following the success of the first generation, Mazda introduced subsequent models that were sold as the Mazda5 internationally. Ford Lio Ho in Taiwan produced a rebranded version of the Mazda5 called the Ford i-Max between 2007 and 2011 for the local market. The first generation Premacy offered seating options for either
