The Mitsubishi eK series, introduced in 2001, is a line of kei cars by Mitsubishi Motors, stemming from the Minica line. The name "eK" stands for "excellent keijidōsha" or "excellent minicar," phonetically resembling "good kei [car]" in Japanese. Notably, Nissan became involved in the production, with Mitsubishi supplying 36,000 eK Wagons annually to Nissan from 2005 onwards.
