The Gloria is a large luxury car that was first introduced in 1959 by the Prince Motor Company in Japan. Following Prince Motor Company's merger with Nissan Motors, the car was marketed as Prince Gloria before eventually being rebranded as Nissan Gloria. Initially, the Gloria was based on the smaller Prince Skyline model. In 1971, the Gloria line was combined with the Nissan Cedric, and both models were produced until 2004, when they were replaced by the Nissan Fuga. After Nissan took over Prince's operations, the Nissan-badged Glorias were sold alongside the Nissan Skyline through the Nissan Prince Shop dealership network, which was originally affiliated with the Prince company. The Gloria featured the Prince G engine until 1969
