The Nissan Pulsar is a line of automobiles produced by Nissan from 1978 to 2000. In 2000, it was replaced by the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in Japan. The name "Pulsar" was used in Australia and New Zealand on rebadged Sylphy vehicles from 2000 to 2005. The Pulsar name was then retired with the introduction of the Nissan Tiida (C11) in 2005. In 2013, the Pulsar name was revived in Australia and New Zealand with new models based on the Sylphy (B17) sedan and Tiida (C12) hatchback.
