The Nissan Pulsar is a series of automobiles manufactured by the Japanese automaker Nissan from 1978 to 2000. Initially introduced as the Pulsar in Japan, it was later replaced by the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in the Japanese market. The name "Pulsar" was then used in Australia and New Zealand between 2000 and 2005 for rebadged versions of the Sylphy. This continued until the Nissan Tiida (C11) was introduced in 2005, leading to the retirement of the Pulsar name at that time. In 2013, Nissan reintroduced the Pulsar name in Australia and New Zealand with two new models. These models were based on the Sylphy (B17) sedan and Tiida (C12) hatchback, with the latter also being sold in Thailand under the Pulsar branding.
