Omoda

Omoda is a passenger car brand launched by Chinese automotive group Chery in 2022, positioned as a design-forward sub-brand targeting younger buyers in international markets including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe. The brand's lineup centers on crossovers and sedans built on Chery's existing platforms, with the C5 compact SUV serving as its launch model and primary volume product. The S5 is a fastback-style sedan sharing the same general market positioning, while the S5 GT adds a sportier specification to that body style. Omoda operates as a distinct marque from Chery's other international brands such as Jaecoo, with the two often sold through shared dealer networks in export markets. As of the mid-2020s the brand is in active expansion, with Chery continuing to develop additional models under the Omoda name.
