Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark IV

1995 – 1997 · Great Britain

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and Silver Spur are iconic luxury cars produced by Rolls-Royce Motors in Crewe, England, from 1980 to 1997 and 2000 respectively. The Silver Spirit, the first model in the SZ series, was introduced in 1980 as a full-size luxury car aimed at setting new benchmarks for the company. Its long-wheelbase version, the Silver Spur, provided even more space and comfort for passengers. One notable feature of the Silver Spirit was the retractable Spirit of Ecstasy mascot, a hallmark of Rolls-Royce, which would sink into the radiator shell if dislodged from its position, showcasing the brand's attention to detail and innovative design elements. The Silver Spirit's introduction marked a new era for Rolls-Royce as it embraced modern design trends while retaining its signature luxury and craftsmanship. The car's sleek exterior and opulent interior set it apart in the luxury automotive market, appealing to discerning customers who valued both performance and prestige. With its powerful engine and smooth ride, the Silver Spirit and Silver Spur offered a driving experience synonymous with the Rolls-Royce brand – elegant, refined, and luxurious. These models remain iconic representations of automotive luxury and timeless design, maintaining their legacy as symbols of status and sophistication on the road.
