The SMZ cyclecar was a distinctive Soviet microcar that originated from the Serpukhov Motor Works (later called SeAZ) in Serpukhov, Russia. Primarily designed for disabled drivers, the most prevalent models, the S-3A and S-3D, were not commercially available to the general public in the USSR. These models were distributed either for free or at heavily discounted rates through the country's social welfare system.
