Suzuki Esteem

1995 – 2004 · Japan

Suzuki›Esteem

The Suzuki Esteem is the North American name for the car sold elsewhere as the Suzuki Baleno and, in Japan, the Cultus Crescent. Built from 1995 into the early 2000s, it was a compact sedan and wagon with front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive on some versions, and manual or automatic gearboxes. The Esteem was Suzuki's step up from the Swift: a conventional small family car rather than a city runabout, with the wagon adding a proper load space. Production in South Asia carried on for several years after the Japanese run ended, under the Baleno name. Specs and variants of the Esteem are on this page.
