TagAZ, short for Taganrogskiy Avtomobilnyi Zavod, was an automotive assembly plant situated in Taganrog, Russia. Established in 1997 with the assistance of Doninvest Finance & Industry Group, the construction of the Taganrog Automotive Plant was based on a licensing agreement with South Korean Daewoo Motors. With an investment exceeding US$260 million, the plant commenced pilot semi-knocked-down production of Daewoo Lanos and Daewoo Nubira models in 1998, marking the beginning of its automotive manufacturing operations. Additionally, TagAZ was associated with the Rostov Truck Factory as part of its business operations. Sadly, the company faced financial challenges, leading to its declaration
