The Tofaş Murat 131, Şahin, Doğan, and Kartal are Turkish versions of the Fiat 131 (series 1) manufactured at the Türk Otomobil Fabrikası A.Ş. plant in Bursa, Turkey. These models were based on the Fiat 131 and were produced from 1977 until 2002 in Turkey, with assembly continuing in Egypt until 2009 and in Ethiopia until 2010. The names of the cars, Doğan, Kartal, and Şahin, translate to "falcon," "eagle," and "hawk" in Turkish, respectively. The Tofaş Murat 131 made its debut in February
