The Toyota Celica GT-Four is a high-performance model of the Celica Liftback that was specifically designed to participate in the World Rally Championship (WRC) competition. This model was produced from 1986 to 1999 and features a turbocharged 3S-GTE engine and full-time all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The WRC regulations mandated that manufacturers must produce road-going versions of their rally cars in significant quantities, leading to the creation of "homologation special vehicles" such as the Celica GT-Four. The Celica GT-Four was released in three generations: the ST165 (1986-1989), the "super round" shape ST185 (1989-1993), and the ST205 (1994-1999).
