Zenos

Founded by former Lotus and Caterham engineers Ansar Ali and Mark Edwards, Zenos Cars emerged in 2012 as a British automotive company with a distinct mission: to deliver thrilling, lightweight sports cars at an accessible price. Zenos marked its entry into the automotive world with the E10, a no-frills, track-focused roadster powered by a robust Ford-sourced engine. The E10 quickly earned acclaim for its innovative use of recycled carbon fiber and an aluminum spine chassis, which significantly reduced production costs while enhancing structural integrity. Despite the initial buzz and a promising start, Zenos faced financial difficulties that led to its administration in 2017. However, the brand experienced a resurgence later that year when it was acquired by AC Cars, one of the oldest independent car manufacturers in the world. Under new ownership, Zenos has continued to focus on their ethos of affordability and performance, attempting to carve out a niche in the competitive sports car market. The brand remains a symbol of British engineering ingenuity, consistently appealing to driving purists who cherish the connection between driver and machine.
