The Audi A5 is a line of compact executive and grand touring coupé cars manufactured by German automaker Audi since June 2007. In addition to the coupé model, the A5 range includes a cabriolet and a "Sportback" version, which is a five-door liftback with a fastback roofline based on the Audi A4 saloon and estate models. The A5 is part of Audi's B-platform series of vehicles, sharing its platform with the A4 saloon and Avant models and is based on the Volkswagen MLB architecture.
