The Subaru Sumo, also recognized as the Domingo in Japan and the Libero in Europe (excluding the UK, Iceland, and Sweden), was a cabover microvan in production from 1983 to 1998. The vehicle had various names in different markets, known as the Combi in Belgium, the Columbuss in Sweden (derived from the Swedish word for "bus"), and the Estratto in Taiwan for the later generation. In certain regions, it was identified as the Subaru E10 and Subaru E12, denoting the engine sizes used in the models. The name Libero, selected by Subaru's German importer, was the result of a public naming competition held in 1984. The compact van featured a distinctive design
