The Toyota Classic, a limited-production luxury car manufactured by Toyota in 1996, drew inspiration from the design of the Toyota AA from the 1930s–1940s, which itself was modeled after the Chrysler Airflow. Built on a fifth-generation Toyota Hilux, the Classic featured a type GA-YN86 rear-wheel-drive frame and was powered by a 2-liter 3Y-E petrol engine generating 96 horsepower and 118 lbf⋅ft (160 N⋅m) of torque.
