A legendary Italian name is back with something special. The Bizzarrini Giotto is the firm's first all-new car in 60 years, and it is a screaming naturally aspirated V12 hypercar.

A Twelve That Revs

Forget turbos and downsizing. The Giotto runs a 6.6-litre V12 developed with Cosworth, making power in the region of 1,000 hp through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Cosworth knows how to build a screamer, and a 6.6-litre twelve revving hard makes a noise no electric motor can fake. This is a car built for sound and sensation.

The displacement is a love letter. Its 6,626 cc nods to the birthday of engineer Giotto Bizzarrini, born on 6 June 1926. That is the kind of detail enthusiasts live for.

Drawn by a Legend

The body was penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro with his son Fabrizio, at their GFG Style studio in Turin. Giugiaro shaped some of the greatest cars ever, so this is no small thing.

Bizzarrini made its name in the 1960s with the gorgeous 5300 GT, so reviving the badge with Giugiaro design keeps the bloodline intact. GFG Style is the family's own studio, making this personal work.

It is carbon fibre throughout, with a dihedral front splitter and a fixed rear wing borrowed straight from racing thinking. Function drives the form.

The Performance

Bizzarrini quotes 0 to 62 mph in under three seconds and a top speed well past 200 mph. Numbers aside, the real promise is the noise and the feel of a big-capacity V12 at full chat.

Each car is built to order, so no two need look quite the same. Exclusivity is baked into the whole project.

It will be hand-assembled in tiny numbers, with pricing firmly in seven figures. This is a collector's piece as much as a driver's car.

The brand is run today by Chris Porritt, an engineer with Aston Martin and Tesla on his CV. Serious people are behind it.

Reborn With Purpose

First deliveries are set for early 2026. It will be rare and expensive, as these things always are.

In an age of electric hypercars, a hand-built analogue V12 from a revived Italian icon feels almost rebellious. That is exactly the appeal.

There is something defiant about launching an analogue V12 hypercar now. Bizzarrini is betting a handful of buyers will pay handsomely to feel, not just accelerate.

For collectors, a freshly minted Bizzarrini V12 is about as rare as a new car gets.
