The Austin Princess is a historical series of luxury cars manufactured by Austin and Vanden Plas from 1947 to 1968. These large luxury vehicles were sold under the names Princess and Vanden Plas. The line expanded to include different versions over the years. In October 1959, BMC introduced a deluxe model of its executive cars under the Princess name, including the Austin Westminster, Vanden Plas Princess, and Wolseley 6/99-6/110. Further, in October 1962, a deluxe edition of the Austin/Morris 1300 was also branded as a Princess model.
