Ford Falcon ED

1993 – 1994

The Ford Falcon ED was produced from 1993 to 1994, slotting into the Australian Falcon lineage between the EB and EL generations as part of Ford Australia's long-running full-size rear-wheel-drive sedan line. The ED brought a refined exterior with smoother body panels compared to the EB it replaced, along with improvements to ride quality and interior refinement aimed at closing the gap with Holden's Commodore in the competitive Australian family car market. Engine options continued the Falcon's established inline-six and V8 formats, with fuel injection across the range and updates to suspension tuning that gave the ED a notably more polished on-road character than its predecessor.
