The Honda Inspire is a mid-size sedan that originated from the Honda Accord chassis. It was initially introduced in late 1989 as the Accord Inspire, alongside the Honda Vigor. The vehicle was distributed under different names in Japan, being sold as the Honda Verno for the Vigor/Saber and the Inspire at Honda Clio stores. Notable transitions occurred in 1995, where the Inspire underwent updates and was exported to the US as the Acura 3.2 TL. Meanwhile, the Vigor nameplate was succeeded by the Honda Saber.
