Horch 830

1933 – 1940 · GERMANY

Horch, a renowned German car manufacturer, has a rich history dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries when it was founded by August Horch. Over time, Horch became one of the predecessors of Audi, following a series of mergers and acquisitions in the automotive industry. The roots of present-day Audi can be traced back to the merger of Auto Union AG and NSU Motorenwerke in 1969, marking a significant evolution in the company's history. Founded in 1910 by August Horch, the original Audi Automobilwerke GmbH Zwickau eventually merged with other prominent automotive companies, including DKW, Wanderer, and Horch, to form Auto Union AG in 1932
