The Hyundai Tiburon, also known as the Hyundai Coupé in Europe, is a sports coupe manufactured by Hyundai from 1996 to 2008. The name "Tiburon" is derived from the Spanish word for "shark" and was used in North America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Austria. In certain European markets and Indonesia, it was known simply as the Hyundai Coupe. In South Korea, the car was marketed as the Turbulence and Tuscani.
