The vehicle was marketed in various countries including the United States, Canada, South Korea, China, Morocco, South America, and the Middle East. While it was imported to Europe and parts of Asia between 2007 and 2011, the Veracruz was primarily discontinued in countries except for South Korea where it continued to be sold. Despite its name being derived from the Mexican state of Veracruz, the Hyundai Veracruz was never officially sold in Mexico.
