Landwind, a Chinese automotive brand established in 2004, is the offspring of Jiangling Motor Holding, a collaborative venture involving Jiangxi Guokong Automotive Investment Corporation, Jiangling Motors Corporation Group, and Changan Automobile. The brand carved a niche in the automotive industry by offering a range of SUVs, sedans, and MPVs, tailored predominantly for the Chinese market. The journey of Landwind reflects a saga of ambition mixed with controversy. Early on, it ventured into international markets, marking its entry as the first Chinese car brand to be sold in European markets in significant volumes.
