Lexus LS XF30

2000 – 2006

The Lexus LS is a prestigious full-size luxury sedan that stands as Lexus' flagship model within Toyota's luxury division. Initially, the LS models all boasted V8 engines and rear-wheel-drive configurations across their first four generations. However, with the fourth generation came a shift in offerings to include all-wheel-drive, hybrid, and long-wheelbase versions. In the fifth generation, Lexus took a new direction by transitioning to V6 engines exclusively, removing the V8 option, and limiting the model to one length option. The LS 400 marked the inaugural model developed by Lexus in January 1989, making waves in the luxury sedan market. Building on its early success, Lexus introduced the second generation of the LS series in November 1994, continuing to set high standards for full-size luxury sedans. Key Points: 1.
