The Maserati Levante (Tipo M161) is an upscale crossover SUV manufactured by Maserati at the Mirafiori factory in Turin from 2016 until 2024. Debuting in Europe in May 2016 and later hitting North American markets in September of the same year, the Levante remained available for purchase until its production ceased in March 2024. The vehicle's name draws inspiration from a warm Mediterranean wind known as the Levante, which travels from southern France to the Strait of Gibraltar. The name is derived from the Latin word "levare," meaning "to rise." Throughout its production run, the Levante garnered attention for its combination of luxury and performance. To mark the discontinuation of production
