The Nissan Avenir is a line of station wagons produced by Nissan of Japan, starting in May 1990. Initially introduced as the Avenir Cargo, it was later renamed the Nissan Expert in 1999. The Avenir model replaced the well-known Nissan Bluebird wagon and delivery van and served as a larger companion to the Nissan Wingroad and Nissan AD van models. In 1999, the Nissan Expert took on the carrying responsibilities of the discontinued Nissan Cedric and Gloria delivery vans.
