Nissan›Maxima

The Nissan Maxima is a renowned five-passenger sedan, positioned as Nissan's flagship model in regions such as North America, the Middle East, South Korea, and China. Having gone through eight generations, the Maxima originally entered the market in 1982 under the name Datsun Maxima, succeeding the Datsun 810. It served as a luxurious alternative to the Altima and, prior to 1993, the Stanza, boasting premium amenities and a V6 engine. Manufactured predominantly in Oppama, Japan, the Maxima's production expanded to include a North American assembly plant in Smyrna, Tennessee from the 2004 model year onwards. This move aimed to cater to the increasing demand in the US market.
