Oldsmobile Omega

1980 – 1984 · USA

The Oldsmobile Omega was a compact car produced by Oldsmobile from 1973 to 1984. Positioned as the brand's most budget-friendly and entry-level offering, the Omega spanned three generations during its production run. The first two generations of the Omega were built on a rear-wheel-drive platform and were essentially rebadged versions of the Chevrolet Nova. This allowed Oldsmobile to offer a compact car that leveraged shared components with the Nova, providing affordability and practicality for consumers. The third generation of the Oldsmobile Omega, which was available from 1980 to 1984, transitioned to a front-wheel-drive layout. This generation was based on the Chevrolet Citation, demonstrating a shift towards new design and engineering concepts
