The Opel Senator, a full-size executive car produced by German automaker Opel, was available in Europe from 1978 to 1993. It was the flagship saloon model for both Opel and Vauxhall throughout its existence. The Senator was initially offered as a saloon but later included a fastback coupé version known as the Opel Monza and Vauxhall Royale Coupé. The car was sold under various names in different markets, including the Chevrolet Senator, Daewoo Imperial in South Korea, Vauxhall Royale (until 1983), and Vauxhall Senator (replacing Royale after 1983 when Opel branding was phased out). In Yugoslavia, it was produced under license by IDA-Opel in Kikinda, Serbia, and sold as the Opel Kikinda. Key Points: 1.
