The vehicle had various names in different markets, known as the Combi in Belgium, the Columbuss in Sweden (derived from the Swedish word for "bus"), and the Estratto in Taiwan for the later generation. In certain regions, it was identified as the Subaru E10 and Subaru E12, denoting the engine sizes used in the models.
