The Toyota C-HR is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Japanese automaker Toyota since 2016. Development of the vehicle was initiated in 2013 under the leadership of Toyota's chief engineer, Hiroyuki Koba. The C-HR is constructed on the TNGA-C (GA-C) platform, shared with the E210 series Corolla, and placed between the Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross in Toyota's crossover SUV lineup.
