The Mazda Lantis, a series of cars produced by Mazda in Japan from 1993 to 1998, was known by various names in different parts of the world, such as 323F, Astina, 323 Astina, Allegro Hatchback, or Artis Hatchback. The Lantis utilized Mazda's CB platform, sharing similarities with the Eunos 500/Xedos 6 and the Mazda Capella manufactured between 1994 and 1997. Featuring a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, the Mazda Lantis was available with either a manual or automatic transmission. One distinctive feature of the Mazda Lantis was its body type, described by Mazda as a "4-door coupé," which is commonly recognized as
