The Pontiac Vibe, produced from 2002 to 2010, was a compact car jointly developed by General Motors and Toyota. It was manufactured by the NUMMI joint venture in Fremont, California, where the Toyota Matrix, a mechanically similar model, was also produced. Succeeding the Chevrolet Prizm at NUMMI production, the Vibe was built on the same platform as the Toyota Corolla, marking it as the final GM and Toyota collaboration on the S-body cars.
