The Acura ZDX is a luxurious mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by Honda under its upscale division, Acura. Initially proposed to be named the "MSX," the ZDX was officially unveiled at the 2009 New York International Auto Show and released as a 2010 model. Notably, it was the first vehicle entirely designed at Acura's design studio in Torrance, California. The original concept for the ZDX was created by Michelle Christensen, who described it as a "4-door luxury sports coupe" aiming to blend the features of coupe, sedan, and SUV.
Setting it apart from other models, the ZDX introduces Acura's maiden six-speed automatic transmission, advanced ventilated seats, and various other luxury amenities.
