The Renault Clio V6 Renault Sport, introduced in 2001, is a unique sport compact vehicle that features a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. This design is reminiscent of classic sports cars such as the 1980s Renault 5 Turbo. The Clio V6 was available in two phases: Phase 1 models were constructed by Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) in Sweden, while Phase 2 models were hand built by Renault Sport in France. Both versions underwent development by TWR.
Due to its mid-engine layout and wide-body concept, the Clio V6 stands out as a rare and distinctive vehicle in the automotive market. The production of both road-going models was limited, contributing to their exclusivity.
